Thoughts on Valentine's Day.
This Valentine's Day gets me thinking about the state of relationships. So many different types. So many dynamics. So many issues.
Sometimes, every relationship goes through its share of push-pull moments.
Sometimes it seems like everyone wants to be in the driver's seat. Or worse - be the back seat driver
Maybe it's better to just hold hands.
Sharing is the glue that keeps a relationship strong.
Even if it's a small token.
And let's not forget the value of silliness.
Being able to find the humor in mundane-ness of our lives makes every day an opportunity for comic relief.
Other times, a good hug might be just what you need.
Or better yet - a kiss.
Never underestimate the value of creativity in nurturing a relationship.
Creating something together, side by side ....
Sharing common interests....
Or even taking a leap of faith together ...
these are the moments that nurture us.
These relationships - they're not always perfect.
Life is like that, you know.
But, when you start with love - things have a way of working themselves out. Happy Valentine's Day everyone.
